Emaar's Rove Hotels brand moves in to extended stay sector

Emaar Hospitality Group's mid-scale Rove Hotels brand has launched Rove Home, an extended stay product.

Rove Hotels director of operations Paul Bridger, said that as a brand extension of Rove Hotels, Rove Home will have a similar focus on design, connectivity, local neighbuorhood emphasis and accessible price points, but will target longer stay guests.

"Rove Home will add a new dimension to the extended stay accommodation market in the same way that Rove Hotels has," Bridger said.

Rove Home's future pipeline will be announced shortly. Rove Hotels currently has five properties trading in Dubai, with a further three in the pipeline.

"It’s been really good. For a first event, the numbers are good, and we’ve had some very positive feedback from the owners that we’ve invited here. We’ve had some really good conversation with partners and potential owners. The atmosphere has been really good - I think the tours of Bangkok yesterday which allowed people to get to know each other on an informal basis was a great idea. I’m sure the event will grow from here."
