General Info
About Urban Living Asia

The inaugural Serviced Apartment Summit Asia 2019 took place on 21 - 22 February 2019 at Amari Watergate, Bangkok, Thailand

The region already has a fast-growing hospitality development pipeline with a wide range of projects from local and international developers and operators. The area is rapidly becoming a global hot spot for the serviced apartment, branded residence and extended stay sectors, with activity levels ramping up considerably.

Urban Living Asia the new moniker and all-encompassing format for the serviced apartment and real-estate convergence in recent times is the response to demand for a dedicated forum for networking, education, sharing best practice and doing business.

Why Singapore?

Singapore, an island city-state off southern Malaysia, is a global financial centre with a tropical climate and multicultural population. Its colonial core centres on the Padang, a cricket field since the 1830s and now flanked by grand buildings such as City Hall, with its 18 Corinthian columns. In Singapore's circa-1820 Chinatown stands the red-and-gold Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, said to house one of Buddha's teeth.

Singapore's urban development experience is a useful guide for developing sustainable and liveable cities and is a great reason why we are travelling there and hosting this event. Singapore's primary objective of tourism has been to create “a good public image of Singapore in the world”
